15 - 18 April - The nest size increases daily

The birds are staying for increasingly longer periods on the nest. Lining material - sheep wool and dried grass is being brought in, and arranged. The nest has significantly increased in size.


One bird was seen bringing in a wood mouse on two occasions on the 10th April. The other kite took one of the mice and flew away with it, probably to feed in peace!
