5 - 9 May - A new addition to the nest!

Today (9th May) saw an addition to the nest. At first it looked as though it could be even more waste paper the birds had brought into the nest.

However, when the female suddenly started pecking at 'the thing', two large pale blue floppy ears suddenly emerged! Thankfully, visitors to the nestwatch helped to identify the 'thing' as a fluffy soft toy – a rabbit!

As already mentioned, the kites never fail to disappoint when decorating their nests. Last year a glove appeared in the nest, this year, the fluffy soft toy rabbit. Who knows what will turn up next!
